I especially liked the willingness of staff to help in any way. There was a power cut in the morning, and we were unable to have breakfast, but the lady on reception (I forget her name) went out of her way to ensure that she heated up some water for us to have coffee. Fortunately, the power came back on very quickly, and we were able to have breakfast, which was delicious.
If there was any complaint, it would be about the shower. The curtain falls short of the floor and unfortunately, with 4 of us in the room, it caused a bit of a flood. Water doesn't drain down very quickly in the cubicle.

Staff friendly, Opposite tram terminus to Athens.Sea View ,Balcony, air con. 25euro for airport transfer, Some Car Parking. Half mile walk to good choice of restauranrts. Good budget airport stop over. Better neighbourhood than parts of Athens.
Very busy road in front of hotel. Double glazing kept noise down.

the hotel was clean, tidy & comfortable. breakfast was continental and plentiful; served individually. the general manager and his staff were understanding & helpful; nothing appeared too much trouble for them. i was able to have the loan of a hairdryer! good local information of where to go and eat & drink, bus use, and taxi airport transfers were easily made. great 'home' delivery of gyros etc. from a local taverna. our stay couldn't have been better.
there was nothing we did not like.

I really like the staff, they were very helpful in everything that I needed!!! The room is really comfortable and clean. The hotel is in front of the beach. The breakfast is good (fruit + bread + cake + milk + tea or coffe + cheese + ham + honey + jam).
I didin't like so much the location, cause is far from the center of Athens and there aren't restaurants close to the hotel.

Daisy is the hotel cat... I mean it's a baby cat that one night as we got back to the hotel, it followed us all the way to the room and she even came in. Apparently she was thirsty because she jumped in the bathtub and started licking drops of water. It was the cutest thing.

The Plaza is located outside of Athens in a nice suburban area of Athens not too far from the airport (25-30 minutes). The family room was large (2 bedrooms) with a very large balcony and bathroom. The neighborhood has a free beach 200 meters from the hotel and a great pita place (Pita Time) near the free beach where we had the best inexpensive gyros in our trip to Greece.

The room was comfortable and the staff very kind.
There is no lift at the hotel. The free parking is just a few places at the street closed to hotel, and the access is not very easy. The hotel is announced as having shuttle bus to the airport, but it has a cost of 35€/ person.

We stayed here for one night as it was close to the airport and reasonably priced. We booked a double room and were upgraded, at no cost, to a two room suite with four beds. Luckily the bedroom was on the back side of the hotel as it is on a very busy street. The bathroom had a separate tub and shower. We noted there is a bus stop within meters of the hotel entrance.
The wireless did not work well in the room, it worked in the common area downstairs. Parking could be a problem at this hotel as the on-site parking is very limited.

We tryed to book a airport shuttle, but they did not respond to our e-mails, so we took the bus. Some traffic noise from the close road

The Plaza non-smoking Hotel is a very basic but fine place to stay, especially for the price they offer. Although only one of the two women who worked at the hotel could speak English, we felt at home and were helped on a very friendly manner. Would recommend it to low budget travelers who are happy to stay at basic hotels.
In the month of February it was kind of cold, and the heating in the hotel was minimal.
